Wow her stuff is beautiful. Thanks for sharing - another thing on my list to try!

I was thinking of doing a christening quilt in cotton lawn in very pale pastels and white, with each 4" square having something special pin-tucks, smocking, tiny hand embroidery with little flowers. But hey, I guess this has upped the ante, so to speak! Since I have no one getting christened there is no rush. No gramma yet!

It looks like trapunto to me. You make a design with thick yarn and quilt around it.

I have been extremely lucky to have met and done a work shop with Jennie. She is very talented and a very funny, generous lady. She has written a few books and her work is stunning.
