A baby wrapped in that quilt is bound to have PERSONALITY! Love it!

I LOVE IT. I love the colors. I love the applique. I love the fact that you did a nine-patch on the back. Great quilt.

You have done a very good job...I am not sure about how the colors should look...They do look purple to me....I believe the new owner will be very happy with whichever color...lol :D :D

Do you go through all 3 layers when you tie on one side? Then it would show on your applique side, wouldn't it? Explain because it is a great idea and I want to know how you did it.

Nel...I did go thru all the layers...on the appliqued side hardly anything showed, I used 3 colors of embroidery floss to tie it...it wasn't much more than a speck on the other side and it ended up in the center of each design so it looked like it sort of belonged there with the 3 colors mixed. On the nine patch side, I left about an inch of thread after knotting each tie twice. I hope this answers your question.

Thanks everyone for the nice compliments!

I think it is absolutely darling! Bright is good for babes - activates their brains! Plus it will be a great lap quilt for her some day - sooner than you think sad to say.
