Hello all. I haven't been on QB in awhile. ... partly because I've been so busy working on this quilt for my local QS. The owner wanted me to make this up for a store sample but it was so busy. I really didn't like it much. But I tried to tone down the feeling of busy by using a limited number (25) of fabrics and repeating some in backgrounds, etc . So, I'm showing it to see if I'm being too fussy.... maybe it's not as busy as I think. The pattern is Green Tea and Sweet Beans by Jen Kingwell.

A very sweet sampler quilt. Samplers are often busy, yours is balanced and lovely. The appliqued border/frame is a great finish. Nicely done.
