I am excited about the Secret Santa and getting my name.
the extra questions are stressing me lol, I mean what if I cant find her post that she cant have scented lotions or whatever and she forgot to add it to the questions we all sent in...she opens gift has a reaction.....
That's it, stocking up on hard liquor now (I don't drink but maybe twice a year, and am allergic to eggnog, but it never hurts to be prepared, right?)
The slippers, socks, aprons and scarves are about a 50/50 now....so I'm ok there
But this crystal thingy, hot fix? I was going to google it...But have decided to let my imagination run wild for a few days.
Keep them questions and answers coming
This is going to be fun

1) Do you like sewing notions of different kinds?
2) Do you like sewing/quilting "charms"?
3) Do you like/use hot fix crystals?
As I'm unpacking, I realize I don't need much in the way of notions. Sewing machine needles are always appreciated though. Universal 12 or 14. I seem to go through them and also rotary blades. Don't we all? Originally Posted by Quilty-Louise

I make alot of donation quilts, so charms & 10" squares are always welcome, also orphan blocks.
I don't need crystals...I use them, but have enough to last a lifetime already.

yikes, reading all this and being a first time at the secret santa swap, I'm getting kind of scared as to what to get so no one is disappointed....hay tcharlie....can you add self forming Lemon scent to my list. It is from bed and bath and I'm down to 2 inches from the bottom of the last jar. I will have to start smelling like myself once the jar is empty. I live 90 miles from the nearest bed and bath place. (Laughing at my silly self.)
did I say 308 of the dolls for very sick kids (Cancer, etc) are now sent out (Free two foot cloth dolls)

Hi Marion...they are the sparklies you see on shirts, etc. They have a glue on the bottom & you put them on with a hot fix tool or iron. I hope that helps you to understand. I'm sure they have sparklie shirts where you live. Originally Posted by m-fay

I use them on clothing, purses, wallhangings, & even a pair of shoes.BTW, thanks for the reminder for signing up.

) So I wear sockies, easier on the feet. And, as I am basically a barefoot girl, I can still feel like I'm barefoot. Don't do lotions, etc, cuz of allergies. But do love Yankee Jar Candles. Any scent.
Realized I forgot size for sockies...size 8 shoe. Couldn't just edit. Originally Posted by VickiM

No, don't really decorate anymore & don't have a tree. I used to be the one that did it all. I will, however, be making a new wreathe for the front door. It's as far as it will go. Now live 5 minutes from my daughter. We will have everyone here for Xmas. So, I told my daughter, when she comes over bring her decorated tree with her, then take it back home when we finish. I have the best of both worlds that way--no muss, no fuss! Boy, is this nice!!!Originally Posted by happynana
Was wondering too if anybody collects special holiday ornaments or decorations? I collect nutcrackers and I love cardinals.
