I thought I would prefer a blue binding until I saw the black. I love it! Excellent choice, IMHO! I say, "Go for it!"

What about a blue and white stripe? Love your bright quilt!

I thin the black would be to stark

Black was my first thought too or a very dark gray.

I was told a long time ago that black frames a quilt wonderfully and gives your eye somewhere to rest. This from a lady who at that time was a long time quilter.

I'd also like to congratulate you on all those lovely sharp points.

I would bind in gray. the the binding will not overpower the the center. Also remember to use white batting and beware of the backing showing thru.

Black would be a bad idea. I like the suggestion for a white binding. Nothing else is needed.

My first thought was that yes, the black binding would be striking, but I have to agree with IQ2 -the white binding would really make the entire quilt pop.

My first choice would be the gray that already appears in your quilt. My second choice would be white. Good luck. Whatever you use, this is a lovely and well-executed quilt!
