Looked it up (aka Google it) and Amazon acquired Fabric.com in 2008 and Zappos.com in 2009. Most recent acquisition that I recall is Whole Foods in either 2016 or 2017. Amazon owns a lot of different companies.

I'd still return it and tell them it is inferior quality fabric as this is how it looks after one laundry cycle. Totally unacceptable. If it's worthless to you, you might as well try to return.

What you all are complaining about is called "Progress". I have shopped Fabric.com since the business started back in the 90s. It got too much for him to handle, so he sold to Amazon. We may not like the idea of one huge company having control of everything we know and love, but that is the way the world works these days. Personally, I love Amazon, and still love Fabric.com. It's not their fault that the quality of the fabric has diminished, blame our need to find bargains, therefore getting fabric from foreign manufacturers. If you are unhappy with the fabric return it and let them know why. That is the only way they will know not to purchase from that supplier.

That’s true.They keep track of returns and if enough of the same thing is being returned, they’ll realize they’re losing money on it. If people don’t return items with a complaint, the company will keep purchasing from their supplier.

Try to return it even though it's been washed. Companies should be made aware of poor quality merchandise.
I hope Amazon doesn't scoop up all the online quilt shops the way Joann's put all the smaller shops out of business.

Dream Green polyester is my fave. I have done the wrinkled look long enough and really like the poly for warmth, druability, and few wrinkles. My favorite quilt shop stocks it.

Yea I'm with most of you. I used to love Fab.com; used to be you only had to spend 39 to get free shipping; now it's 49 and you have to buy a minimum. UNLESS they have some brand name fabric I REALLY like then I don't mind getting the 3 yards or whatever; usually more is needed for backing, but there are other alternatives out there - thankfully. I hope the good ones don't go away.

I don't understand what you people have against Amazon. Sadly, large companies is the sign of the times. Ask your family doctor, or your dentist, they will tell you they can't make any money staying small. It is all about profit margin these days, as I said before, that is progress. I love Amazon, free shipping and guaranteed delivery in 2 days. I don't have to battle crowds, save on gas not having to drive to various stores, when all I have to do is click the mouse and anything I want is at hand, and usually at a better price. Amazon has a great return policy too.
