Your quilt is awesome!! Great use of scraps.....would you please share the size of the finished quilt and the number of blocks you made for it? The addition of the black sashing is genius!

Sandy, the top ended up being about 95 inches square. I made 50 blocks. Each block finished at 12 inches and I used a 1 inch (finished) sashing, plus 1 1/2 inch border, just to keep the bias edges from stretching. I also used cornerstones to keep my rows nice and even. On point, the rows were 1,3,5,7,9,7,5,3,1 full blocks. Each row began and ended with a diagonally cut block, so that added 8 blocks the total. And finally, to finish the corners, I cut one block into quarters. I showed how to do that in the PDF in Tutorials. Hope this info helps.

That would be great. I like how the sashing just makes it more interesting on point. Good for you to keep on going. It is a striking quilt.

This is a link to a tutorial for Simply woven quilt. Rather lengthly but you may be able to copy/paste and reduce number of pagses. It's the one I used and all lmarked up to keep me organized.
