Quossum, I am waiting too. In the meantime........ I will try to get a "finish" on one that I have started.
Not like I don't have any UFO choices stacked up here. Tee-Hee-Hee!

Janice, I have one of those Giant Swoons from the 2018ish QB sew-along stashed somewhere. Lovely finish! It is so pretty.
WMUTeach, I really like your Star Trails flimsy. The pattern is new to me.

Oh, I have plenty more to work on… and I keep starting new things! LOL
I have plenty to work on, but I’m hoping that one shining number will give me some focus from “The Pile!”

Some of you have been really industrious. I only completely finished one in March, but have another flimsy made and have pulled the next one to work on from the UFO cabinet. It's a big block quilt made primarily of FG and HSTs. I messed up a whole column by getting them reversed. So am having to both unpick and make about a dozen new FGs. So not too onerous, just frustrating.

I started this quilt back in 2019 at a quilt retreat. This one is for the spare bed and I made another one smaller for the foot of the bed but haven't had time to get it quilted yet. More important quilts got in the way.
In February and March I was able to finish quilting this one, the Ombre that had been attached to the frame since 2023 when I stopped working on any quilts in April of that month. Finally got this one quilted, then stopped again to make4 oversized lap quilt flimsies, finish putting together a cathedral window UFO and a Dinosaur quilt for a little boy. So far in the past 2-4 weeks I've been able to finish quilting the Ombre, quilt 2 of the oversized lap quilts made in February and quilt the dinosaur quilt. Here is the Ombre UFO from 2019.
I also made pillow shams from this ombre fabric plus 2 throw pillows using some of the scraps from the shams. I hate wasting any fabric these days at the price it's gotten up to.

I stumbled onto the Star Rails pattern online when looking for a way to use the 2.5" squares from the Birthday Swap a few years back. It happened that there were exactly exactly that same number of rows of 2.5's as the number of folks who participated in the swap. Therefore each row represents one of the swappers that year. I would like to use this pattern again but use a planned color scheme.Originally Posted by quiltmouse
