There was a lady on sewing with nancy that wrote a book on quick serger gifts. Our library had it-thats how I got my pattern. I can get the name of it for you if you'd like. Joanns had the book too.

here is the name of the book that i got my pattern from. Ready, Set, Serge: quick and easy projects by Georgie Melot. Amazon has it for $15 but i saw it at Joanns too. There are a bunch of cute things in there that would make nice quick gifts.

Thank you very much. I will look for the book. It says serger. I do not have one. Can these be made with a reg sewing machine?
    Thanks
    Linda

Yes, i would make sure that you go over the raw edges with an overlock stitch if your machine has one. if it doesn't, you can use a zig zag stitch to keep the edges from fraying.
