I can't wait to see how you did these potholders, espicially since you used 2 layers of Insul-brite. I have so many pieces of fabric that I want to use to do potholders for my friends.
HINT...cut your batting just a tad smaller than your fabrics...and cut each of those layers smaller..OR trim the batting after you sew to THIN it out!Originally Posted by Beginner10
Sew glad to see that you are going to do a tute. I made my 1st potholder but only used 1 piece of Insul-brite because when I tried two...was really, really hard to turn (I think it is called birthing). So I ripped out and did the single layer of Insul-brite and a single layer of batting...so much easier to "birth".I can't wait to see how you did these potholders, espicially since you used 2 layers of Insul-brite. Okay, tutorial is posted in new thread under "Main" labeled 9 Patch Wonder Blocks Tutorial. I guess I should have used the word Tutorial first but I didn't. I hope it all makes sense.
