It's a beautiful quilt. I understand why you pulled out all the stops to finish it quickly for your mom. My mom was diagnosed w/A at age 92 and died of A complications 8 months later. She had signs of dementia for about 6 years, but she knew me the last day. Spend as much time with her as you can - you'll never regret it.

Your quilt is beautiful. I am glad you put a label on it as they have a way of walking off or getting misplaced.
