Very nice quilt, did you get the pattern from MSQC, saw a tutorial that looked similar to it.

It rained from Friday-Sunday, we got a lot of very much needed rain.
I quilted 2 baby quilts this weekend, 2 quilt tops that someone donated to the charity group I sew with.
The machine I usually use for free motion quilting broke, the top tension wouldn't stay set any more. So fortunately I have a back up machine. Whew, the quilts still got done.

Yes, I did work on quilting, but the camera battery died and we are waiting on the replacement to come in--tomorrow probably. I worked on my table runner for the June Swap on qb, and also a table topper which is all hand quilted. Plan to enter it in the county fair! That is it for me, but a whole box of stuff to get to that are all UFO's!Mariah.

I am so glad that I found this message board. I quilted for hours this weekend... and I think I am the only person I know who did. Sometimes I feel like the odd ball... but then here there are so many, many others like myself.. I love it!! I started a memory quilt for my sister. We lost our nephew in March in an auto accident.. and I find this therapeutic for me. I spent a fair amount of time ripping apart what I sewed, but I have a good start. I find it hard to mix the different fabrics together and make the piecing work right (jeans, tee shirts, sweatshirts, ect) But as you all say - - there is no quilt police Its hard to stick to a pattern and incorporate the tee shirt logos that will really identify the quilt as my nephew... its just a quilt top but so far so good... I can't get the picture to upload

Im not bragging. But I sew 7 day's a week. Off and on during the day. I may sit in my chair, with my 3 guard dog's, and pin pieces. And then later on, get up, and sew the pieces together. I've started a Dble wedding ring, 2 week's ago. And will, more than likely pin the pieces, this evening, or tomorrow, to make 2 rows done.
