About $3.69 per gallon minus the amount on your fuel card managed by local grocery chain. From 25 cents down to one penny for certain foods on their list and it changes every week. I love it when they do a promotion and you get 25 to 30 cents a gallon off for showing up at their store, and buy $30 to $50 worth of groceries.

Jimmy Carter proved how to lower gas prices in a hurry. He told everyone to avoid the gas stations one day...and he set the day. Everyone stayed away and the prices were cut the next day. It is those who speculate on the market that raises the price so high. Can you imagine the headache station managers have when they buy high, and the price drops?? OR they make it up when their storage tanks are full at a cheaper price and prices raise??

Meat prices reflect directly what the government buys for the armed forces in the many bases on land and on sea. Congress has the power to move the bases to their home states; causes 'ghost' towns over night. It happened in Texas while we lived there. Property value dropped very low on bases that was moving.
