Love all the pictures! I put the OhMyGosh quilt aside and worked on the 356 block set. Another 15 3.5" dark blocks. Now I'm up to Oct 10th, though I've not done the two larger corner blocks yet.

Though I do think some of these blocks have no business being 3.5"

Oh, strap is sewn but not top-stitched, the lining is finished, had to take it apart when I remembered I forgot to sew in the pocket but that's all fixed now. Hope to finish the quilting later today and construction tomorrow.
This looks like it's going to be really cute! I like the shapes.... I'll have to remember that plaid quilting pattern. I really like it.

3.5!! And I thought 6" blocks were scary... I don't even want to ask how big those 'birds in the air' are. It's looking amazing.

I finished the mini quilt for the October Swap and now just have to mail it to ......

I am only showing the back of the quilt right now.

The front of the quilt has 454 pieces. The back has 32 for a grand total of 486 pieces in 16 sq inches.

I am so happy with the result. You will see the front soon.

I have been watching all the great work being done and want to say a special shout out to that lamp shade project. All the projects are wonderful. It has been a very successful weekend.

Here is the beginnings of my charm double Irish chain quilt. I kind of joined in as much as I could with the VQW. I found that I don't get too much sewing done on the weekends, with DH home and its family time. But here is a picture of the beginnings all laid out on my "design wall" (my queen size bed with the top quilt off!!!) I hope you can see it okay, despite the tan blanket under it? Thanks for looking!

NZ, that's going to be one beautiful Irish chain!

Ube, the back of your mini is so pretty, I can't wait to see the front in the mini quilt swap thread. Wondering if it's like the friendship star you put on the back?

This is the quilt I longarmed and put the binding on this weekend. It's going in the mail tomorrow, a gift for my cousin in Arizona.
