I've had finished two quilts for February but haven't been able to post them until yesterday due to lack of electricity due to the snow storm we had. We don't get a large amount of snow in DE so 14 inches is a lot of snow. It started with 3 inch wet flakes that coated trees, snapping them and thousands were without power. Not just in De but all along the East coast. I am so ready for Spring. I'll see about posting a photo tomorrow.

I'm happy to say I got the 2 quilts finished as I've shown you already but yesterday I decided to work on my French Braid and after measuring my bed for the 10th time and measuring how far I've put together on this quilt, all I needed to finish it was the 6 inch border. What a DUH moment that was. Of course my little boy fur baby has been leaving his hair all over it while it was on the design wall. Yes, he is talented. It took me over an hour to remove all the hair on both sides using a tape roller. It's now folded up high enough that he can't reach it. I also trimmed all the threads as this fabric frays terribly. After it's been quilted, I'll use my pinking rotary blade along the edges. I did trim the last seam with the pinking blade. So it's sort of finished but not quilted and I don't have any photos to show you as it's 95 long x 107 wide. This will go on an antique 4-poster walnut bed and it's a bit high off the ground with the newer mattresses I added about 5 years old. Here's a photo but it's folded up halfway to keep Boomer from grabbing the straight pins.

I pulled a number from the hat and the next UFO Challenge is #5. My #5 is called Museum quilt and is all reproduction fabric from a New England quilt museum and an 1800 quilt they have from a local quilter. I put it together a year ago or was it two years ago, It needs quilting and binding. Doable in a month's time. Right? Photo.... later today.

Lena, I agree the snowman was a perfect choice for a snow storm project. Choose another to fill in for your #5.
I snapped a photo of my #5 but it is sure does not reflect the colors accurately. Oh well, I found the backing too and a piece of fabric that I saved or the binding all in the same bag with the top. Love it when I keep things organized like that.

All right!! March is going to be my catch-up month for sure!
My #5 is a small flannel baby quilt. The top is done, just needs a back, a binding, and quilting, which I can do lickety-split when I’m done with Mathemagical. I’m inspired!

For March, I have 2 quilts I want to finish and both might go to the quilt auction in April or at least the larger of the 2 will. The 1st one is the Rick Rack, pattern I found on MSQ video, made back in 2019 and the last of my larger UFO quilts. The other one is a wall hanging I picked up at a fabric store last year. Now I'm thinking I really don't need or even have a spot on a vacant wall to put it so it will go to the auction also. That will be the last of my UFO. But I now have a panel quilt I designed years ago and decided to pull it out of storage and work on it. I found out there will be more work thatn expected as my panel is too large for the blocks I designed to go around it so I'' be trimming a bit.
Thanks for having this UFO challenge as it's made me get busy and finish up things. In April I might have time to quilt my French Braid I just finished putting together for my own bed.

Woah, Snooze that's a beautiful top! I seem to be somewhat of a broken record when it comes to your posts - I love all of the patterns and fabrics you use!!
Lena - that snowman is incredibly cute, and adorable to work on during an actual snowstorm. I really like the pinks/reds too - very suitable for a Valentine's month finish.
WMUTeach - it can be so satisfying to be organised on behalf of our Future Selves
I have Puffins Aloft booked in to drop off at the longarmer's next weekend - she's a 'new to me' longarmer, so I'm just starting her off with one to see how we get along...
Otherwise not a lot more progress to report, although I'm happy with my month's progress overall. I've been working more on Snoopy & Shamrocks - discovered, to my surprise, that I do not have enough white on white to use for the background, so submitted an order to the quilt shop online last night. So I'll work on cutting out for the fabric I do have in the meantime.
Happy Quilting!
