A caution about licensed and/or copyrighted fabric - such as college teams, etc. If you don't buy the rights, you can't sell items from it. The "fabric police" have been known to show up and confiscate anything that is "illegal." This usually only happens at large shows, but it can be anywhere.

I think once you purchase the fabric, it ought to be yours to use as you please, but that's not the way it is.
