What are you gonna do when all those little suctions cups start sticking to your tongue and the roof of your mouth?
Or catch hold of that little 'hangy down thing' in the back of your throat!

All of these different foods are a cultural thing. It truly depends on where you grew up, and how your parents were about having you try new foods! I grew up trying and tasting all different kinds of game meats (Dad was a hunter and fisherman).

To this day I do and will try just about anything, except for our rodents, (Eww, racoon, possom, badger, not even gonna try it)

About the only things I hate are brussel sprouts and chocolate pudding. Tried those, would rather have another veggie, thank you. If that is all you have, well, I will happily pass the dish. I would MUCH rather have pickled cabbage with flaming red hot peppers and octopus in it!

I love watching those shows on the travel channel where they go all over the world and try the different cuisines. I have been lucky enough to have travelled the Orient as well as across North America (we eat some pretty rough stuff, too) I am looking forward to going to Puerto Rico this summer, and will NOT be eating at McDonald's.
