They are sprinklers to use when you sprinkle your clothes for ironing. You put them in a soft drink bottle.

Yup, put them in a soda bottle and used for sprinkling clothes to iron. I'm older than dirt! I can remember sprinkling a load, wrapping them and then putting them aside. When they had turned pink from molding, back into the washer and start all over. I really hated ironing when I was a teen, funny I don't mind it at all now. Maybe it was because it was one of my "chores" and it had to be done or my brother and sister wouldn't have clothes for school.

Do any of you use "tin foil" to wrap your food up? Using "lard" to make pie crust? Flattening cans to donate for the war? Ration books? I still have one of mine.

Great memories. My mom used to "let" me iron my dad's handkerchiefs. She would sprinkle everything and then roll it up to keep them damp and then start ironing.

I remember these my grandmother used them too in the old brown Clorax bottle.
She used to iron everything socks, underwear, towels, sheets, doilies I could go on and on and clothes too.

Yes I do remember them. Mom had them. BTW, I did not know Clorox came in glass bottles at one time.
