This is absolutely exquisite! So glad you shared a progression of photos. Just getting the design to be balanced must have been a challenge. The source of your design is so clever and makes it so unique.

On September 15th I have started to hand quilt a new wholecloth. It's always fascinating to see how the design develops from step to step...
The finished quilt will have a size around 74" x 74". It's my own design, derived from a diamond brooch I found a picture of in the internet. I think it's really loveley.
