    Mary,

    Thank you so much for the information. My son served in the Marines for 5-l/2 years. Two of those years were spent in Japan and nearly a year was served in Afghanistan. He's been home safe and sound for nearly two years and will graduate from college next year.

    This eagle image will make a beautiful quilt to honor his service. Thanks again for sharing your artistry. Your quilt is exquisite. Nancy
