I used card stock on one postcard so far. The one I used I thought it was to stiff . So I will try it again but with a less stiff cardstock. But usually use muslin myself.

Thank you all for the complements on my postcards. Trying to think out of the box and my comfort zone. I also liked the witch painted on the fabric just didn't like the eye. Eyes are really hard for me to do.

I see what you mean Owlvamp. But, you still did a nice job and it is very recognizable. I really like the hair! You know what I did, go on google or pinterest and put in the search engine, doll faces or witch faces etc. Then, I practice my faces on paper first. Then I sketch it out in pencil or even hold up to a lighted window and trace. (Or, you can use a lightbox if you have one. I use the window myself.

My postcard was received. All the postcard posted are so cute. The more I do the postcards the I like doing them. I bought a book on making cards today. Got it at a thrift store for $1.99. Found some john deere fabric and green bay packer fabric. Found two patterns
So I had a great day at the thrift store. Going to a sew in on Saturday at a shop. You pay $10.00 to come and sew. Sunday I'm going to another shop for a crazy patch club.

Do most people use fabric or card stock. Does it matter.

Do most people use card stock or fabric on the back of the postcard. Does it matter?

I have used stiffened felt in my postcard and I feel that it worked well. Maybe you would like to try that.

JuneBillie -- now I remember reading about your fur baby. I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention at the time. I'm really sorry to hear about this, as I know all our fur babies are our children. But just remember, he/she will always be with you ... I believe that.
