Lovely star block, Terri, a great choice for your farm fabric.

It's cold here today, too. An unexpected surprise and a welcome one, considering how little cool weather we have these days. I actually am wearing a sweater!

Yesterday I had a fun day out with my quilting buds. We road-tripped a few hours away, to the Hattiesburg Pine Belt Quilters' Showcase. The quality of the quilts was much better than the last show we went to. Saw some amazing applique and paper piecing! This was my favorite, and also won the Viewer's Choice prize. All needleturn applique and thread painting, tiny pieces! And it's not from any pattern, just her photos. Artist is Judy Spiers and she calls it "Mississippi Backroad Treasures". I'll add the photo from my phone.

Can't wait for my F8s to arrive! In the meantime I might get my BurgSur quilt top finished, with only 2 blocks left to be built.

Janice, get ready for the flood of photos of new Bloom blocks!

This quilt is stunning. I have always admired people whole could create like this with fabric and thread.

SBG, the quilt you showed is amazing. What detail and color choices! It deserved the Viewer's Choice award. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us.

Default Packages shipped

Good morning, Bloomers. Your packages were all dropped off around 9 am and scanned. Tracking should begin soon. Hopefully they all will arrive by the end of the week.

I’m off to work on my blocks. I’m already stumped by a few so we’ll see what I can come up with.

Hope your weather is as wonderful as ours is today.

Perfect Northumberland Star, Janice! That's a beautiful block. I can't wait to start creating with everyone's F8s!

I am finally just about done with the final Burgoyne Surrounded block and soon will be able to put the top together. Will I make it in time before the Bloom F8s start arriving?

Sewbiz the quilts are beautiful, sounds like you had a fun time. Can’t wait to see your Burgoyne Surround

Janice great block for show casing the dragon fly fabric.

My oldest dd flys in on Wednesday and Saturday we all drive to to Bismark North Dakota for Grand daughter’s college graduation. So excited but I’m definitely in denial. Abby can’t possibly be old enough to be graduating. She is an awesome, caring young woman.
