What!? You had to unsew??? I've never heard of such a thing..... I've heard there was some reason for those "seam rippers" but of course I've never had to do such myself. AND I've never told a lie! But the outcome is beautiful!

I love Finland. Have dear friends in Pori as well as Helsinki. Carry on... already you've made the world a more fun place!

I found very early on in my quilting journey that the 1st thing you become an expert at is "Froggy" sewing, rip-it, rip-it. However much you had to rip-itthe result is well worth it.

Awesome.. is that... a half square triangle I see making up the on point diamond squares? OMG THAT'S GENIUS!!! Also... well I haven't waded through 12 pages yet but I'm sure someone must have suggested this in there but if not here it is again.. Make or buy a bumper that you can stick on (and hopefully remove fairly cleanly if the need arises) and position it at the 1/4" spot on your machine, then when your fabric piece edges but up against it it should give you the 1 thread thickness less 1/4" seam that is so coveted. That's what I do.. and I love it. so fast and easy. Anyways, good job, and congrats on the Papa-hood. Congrats on being a male quilter. congrats on so many levels. Love the monkey.
