SheriR - Wonderful mini! Such teeny, tiny piecing! Love the colors/fabrics and scrappy border.
I have decided to put some of these candies to use in a Split Nine Patch, pattern by Bonnie Hunter on Quiltville. Spent the morning looking through the swap candies and putting all the low volume together. Such wonderful fabrics, so many I have never seen before. So much fun!

Sheri, the flamingo mini quilt is adorable. What measurement exactly is the 1.8"? 1 and 5/8??? (Don't make me use my math brain!) Your tiny piecing is so sweet. Love your big spiral quilting, too.
I hope my package is in the mailbox today! I can play with them...

LoL. Well how about 1-1/8" for my tiny ones. I tried 1" and they were just a tad too small for my liking. Thanks for the comment on my quilting. Not perfect. It's suppose to make you think of ripples in a puddle, while taking focus off that dark square smack dab in the center..... It's part of the color collection around the flamingo so I left it in. Plus I got to lazy to switch it for a lighter square-which I actually considered doing.

Just came from the mailbox... all the way back to the house I was sure I had Sheri's package in my arms! But at the house I saw it was actually a pkg from one of my I Spy swappers! Good to get that one, but it's not what I was looking for today! I'm sure Sheri's will come on Monday.

My candy arrived today! Thanks, everyone. And thank you , Sheri for hosting. I've not opened it yet. I'm going to be gone on a mission trip to Louisiana for a week, so I'll open it up when I return.

it's roughly 15.5" square, the little 9 patches I cut each 1.8" to finish at 2.5" 9Patches. Kinda cute, I think.
