Mary...I had forgotten how stunning that ribbon actually was on Elle's quilt....I do love that effect!

Kathyrn...I got JoeAnn's top today....my jaw fell on the floor and DH almost wrecked the truck...(of course I grabbed the mail on the way out the driveway and opened it while he was driving) :shock: :shock: The pictures don't do it justice ladies...it is stunning! The fabrics are gorgeous in person and Kathyrn's applique...well....wow!!...Looks like you've been doing it for years! Now...it better holler pretty darn loud and quick...I have NO idea what to do!! :roll:

At times, it felt like I HAD been doing it for years!

:lol: Glad it got there safe and sound BEFORE the volcano stopped all flights in and out of France. No sign of Mel's yet, I expect it's stuck in an airport somewhere. :shock:

Yes, unfortunately I think that quite a few tops are stuck in airports....I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they don't get lost in the process.

Patti, your center has ARRIVED!! It's safe and sound, tucked in my sewing room. I'm actually trying to finish one more project before I even begin, so I'll probably start choosing fabrics next week.

This weekend, I have a special project to finish! :)

Yes mom, I know! I do have something special that I AM working on....in fact, very shortly I'm headed to the sewing room. My machine is being a bugger though...I'm hoping this isn't warning of some breakdown coming = :)
