    Okay, I went ahead and cut before reading all the posts up until now. I haven't looked here for a while, so hope I've read things right so far. I'm using fabric from my stash and want something bright for Christmas. Did I miss instructions? Only a little bit of material has been cut!

    I can't decide whether to use the blue or red for the lining, any suggestions?


    pattern - focus; yellow - background; white - contrast; blue - lining; red - straps

    I personally think that either would look good. Why don't you wait on the lining until we see how the front goes together and then decide.

    I've got my fabric! I will post it tomorrow. Shall we say HOT Chili?? Can't wait to post and get started on this week's assignment!

    Good thinking! I am going to do that to. I cound not decide on my lining either. But then again I still can't decide on my fabric. I am down to two different ways to go. :roll: So I am close. :D

    lol i had asked if my focus fabric has words on it, do i want the fabric and words running tall ways or sideways, and skeat says, so long as your words go left to right lol, you know, how we read left to right, not right to left??? lol lol lol

    Awesome fabric choices. I made a Christmas vest out of that exact fabric!
    Waiting until your bag front is done is an excellent idea as well. I cut a piece of purple last night to make sure a fq was big enough for the project ...now to find something else to go with it to make another bag!
