    WOW I never thought of this. I guess I do whatever works with the quilt top and/or fabric available. I'm glad that everyone else does the same! :)

    I think it depends on whether or not you mitre the corners. If you do, it doesn't matter. Otherwise, I don't think it matters which side or end goes on first, as long as you do a top and a bottom border then the 2 sides or visa-versa.

    There is no order to putting on borders! I wouldn't take anything out.
