I hope I'm not speaking out of turn, but I have been in touch with mbogenpohl on the "So, I Opened My Mouth" thread and she is facing some serious health issues. Right now she is waiting on word from her doctor on whether or not she has to go into the hospital. She did say she had already sent out some of the Boomerang blocks but is also trying to complete 3 queen size quilts for her son's school raffle. So I think we should be hearing from her soon.

I went shopping today at JoAnns Fabric Store. That is where I bought my fabric for this boomerang.... you remember it? The mauve,gold,rose, floral print. Well today they had a coordinating fabric. It is done in strips of... you know what? I think I'll just take a photo and show it to you. Its a neat addition, I think!
Now I have an extra 7 yards of the main piece and another 4 yards of the striped. I may have enough now to make drapery, throw rugs, his and hers pajamas, pillow cases and shams.... lol !!!

the flowers in the stripe fabric match the overall print. just camera/lighting effect makes it look off.
