More beautiful finishes! Mine is moving along slowly. Still a few more sashing stars to complete then decide on border or not.

I finally have step 3 done now to figure out the sashing..stars or no stars I haven't decided yet..I'm thinking of either a mid lime green or aqua..I have to dig for those colors for the yardage...

Honchey, the border with the stars is not hard if you follow Judy's directions and it looks so pretty. Just try a few and you'll see. I love your quilt so far.

    Default #8 mystery quilt

Here is a new picture of my quilt with the star points redone in the border. Thanks to one of my new friends on here im'd me and I so appreciate her doing so. I had not noticed that 8 of these points were wrong. The border is kind of patchy now but points are fixed.

Jolo I am so sorry to hear about your dear son in law. My prayers are with your family at this time.

Honchey those have very pretty colors, and I am right there with ya on that step. We will have us a very pretty quilt when we have finished though. It is well worth it.

WhooHoo! Got all the sashing strips for the front done and about half thru with the ones for the back of the QAYG. Then I can finish putting it together. And decide on border. Will most likely do the piano key style. Like the look.

I tried to make the borders without the patches, too, at first. One side worked, but I had to redo all the others! I thought I'd never get the silly things right--as Jenny Doan is wont to say, "I am angley-challenged."
