The quilt is beautiful with so many beautiful pieces. I have a pickle ornament to put on my Christmas Tree.

Bravo! I love it! You quilt far better than I do - I never would have taken the challenge.

Very pretty quilt. I know you are proud of it. For a beginning quilter it would be a challenge. For someone who likes paper piecing, it would be fun.

The New York Beauty blocks are a favorite of mine even though I haven't made a quilt using them yet. It's on the bucket list. One day.....

Just curious - How big did your blocks finish? I am guessing a 12 or 15 inch block. Am I right?

I bought it, and my friend and I were discussing her making it. Some other quilters who had been in the class were listening and told us we would not be able to make this quilt without going to the class, as it was so difficult..My friend was offended, as she said no one really knows what someone elses skill level is...I agreed, and somehow was roped into making this quilt, too......So, I finally have it ready to border and then quilt...I also am eating crow, as I really only made the quilt to see if I could...but now I really think it is a pretty pattern...And, I will add that I am certainly not a "master quilter"...I know some of the arcs are a tad "pointy-arcy"...so, if there are quilt police looking, please no tickets or warnings......

PS the very bottom is really not that crooked, its the way the quilt was hanging when I took the picture...
I've been looking for this pattern and can't find it anywhere. Would you be willing to send me a copy of yours? I would be happy to pay for it.

This thread was started in 2012...

https://www.homespunhearth.com/detai...ct_id=ZB-POS65 - out of stock but emal for availability

    https://www.quiltcreations2018.com/m...ristmas-pickle -$75 if still valid

https://katiemaytoo.blogspot.com/201...le-finish.html -- great blog with hints as to how it was put together

It does look like a New York Beauty block framed with pinwheels if you want to recreate it. The foundation papers for the New York Beauty you want should be available if you don't want to draft them yourself and you do want to paper piece.

Thank you for this rabbit hole! There are a bunch of threads here in the QuiltingBoard asking for help finding the pattern.

According to one of the reviews, this one has the Christmas Pickles pattern https://www.amazon.com/Home-Holidays.../dp/1880972530
I also noticed several of the "Home for the Holidays" books on ebay.

This quilt looks to be a fractured pickle dish pattern. Here is a place to start.
