Yvonne -I love it - love love love it -so much work and so perfect! (and I certainly understand about picture taking!! I decided my wall must be off) And I do love the other picture - so if it falls into my box with my top I won't mind!!)
Jane - WOW - perfect addition of color really makes it all pop.
I look at the blocks and wonder what I will ever be able to add to them!

Still can't get my mind on the fact that it will be December on Sunday! Where has this year gone?

Thank you. I tried using 2 strands of embroidery floss but it just didn't' seem to enhance the center block enough so I went with 3. Also, washed the fabrics. Thought the dark blue might fade but just a very faint tint of pale, pale blue the first wash and nothing the second. Enjoy!

Jane, I love it. Thank you. Yvonne, you did a great job too. Both of them are very pretty.

Janet and Anne------- the quilt picture Jane and I were referring to was from the Round Robin that she and Sherry and I and a couple of other members did. Sherry's is the top row, mine is the second and Jane's is the fifth. The theme was "The Neighborhood at Dusk" and, of course, there are many, many different neighborhoods.

The name of the block is Honey Bee...have no idea why I keep being drawn to it. Think I did one for your quilt, too, didn't I, Jane?.....only in 30's fabric?

Do any of you have a favorite block?

I just received a PM from Anne. She got married last Friday and is leaving for her honeymoon. She said her daughter will be taking her mail so I'm not concerned about my pkg and she'd be in touch with me when she gets back. Wow! She had a busy Thanksgiving, huh???

    Congrats, Anne!

Yvonne - - Yes you did. Some of my favorite quilt blocks are Jacobs Ladder, the Ohio Star and Ocean Waves. Guess I'm a traditional quilter although I've really enjoyed making the Disappearing 4 Patch lately.
