No, you're not odd unless I am also. Hmmmm.... we both may be in trouble! I love John Wayne's movies and would add Hatari to the list.

Oh, I liked that one too! One of my favorites also didn't do well. It's Same Time Next Year with Alan Alda and Ellen Bursten.. Think it was released in the mid 80s

I have way too many favorites to list, but the number one would be "Gone With The Wind." After that would be, in no particular order, A Summer Place and Rome Adventure with Troy Donahue, Sleepless in Seattle, The Notebook, Lonesome Dove, Cold Mountain, An Affair To Remember, Doctor Zhivago, Up Close and Personal, Showboat, An American President, Steel Magnolias and Elvis in Blue Hawaii (loved Elvis, but this was his best movie).

Does anybody remember "This Property is Codemned" with Natalie Woood, Robert Redford, & Charles Bronson. It's a B&W. Use to always stay up late & watch anytime it came on.

Swoon! Lucky you! How fun! Darcy proposed more than once, but I assume you mean the final proposal in the movie when they were out walking? I love that movie...the book too!
