Hi, I am a new member and would like to join on the candy swap. I will need to go home and count what I have. I have only started to quilt for about 1 year and half. I made one try out quilt to start, pierced one top, and just finished two baby quilts for my nephew and niece. Already, I have a book shelve full of fabric. No twist from me. I know I only have three batik.

Well, I am back from my shopping spree. DH even waited in the car reading the morning paper and was surprised I was only in there for 20 minutes. I bought 13 fabrics, two yards each. Sorry, Fraew, they don't have a website. They have been running their sale for over a week. I was surprised they still had a nice selection available. I may have to go back tomorrow or Monday. I should do my part for all of you who can't make it.

It is sad that people who love what they are doing and do a good job of it are going out of business.

So, now to cutting. I will just do a few fabrics each day and there by make the deadline.

Dottie, I have given up on a 'no buy' but (except for today) I am buying less and trying to use up my stash. I love quilting though, it gives me a great excuse to buy the fabric that I sew love!~

Thanks. I needed that. I have been sitting here plowing through removing iTunes from my computer, then reloading it and trying to register the ipod nano I bought my DH and it has been over 2+ hours. I needed a good laugh. Think I will go feel my new fabric. Laughing in Washington!

You ladies are super funny. Buying yards and yards of 50% off fabric while playing online casino and listening to iTunes...

I've received over half your "candy" swaps. Today I got dottie.dodge's. She sure packages her candy beautifully. Wait until you see. She sews her baggies. I LOVE IT. I actually tried it and I ended up with a wonky baggie. I don't know how she does it, but theyre perfect.
