I like either the pink or the yellow Kass..Im not much of a "yellow" fan but it looks good with the green. I was hoping to get my Boom 20 "love/peace/hope" blocks back this coming Sunday but my quilters husband fell in the lake when feeding his fish and has a broken vertabra in his back so hes in hospital. She puts quilt in frame and he quilts them so not sure when Ill get it back.

Joan, I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one. That type of injury can have a long recovery process. And standing over a quilting machine is probably not on his physical therapy list. Wow, that’s a tough one. Feeding the fish, to flat on your back. Tough type of injury, but double trouble if that is their source of income. Will pray for them and you. Maybe you have another quilter on your list?

your smile for the day:
Ode to My Wife the Quilter
She learned to quilt on Monday.
Her stitches all were fine.
She forgot to thaw out dinner,
so out we went to dine.
She quilted miniatures on Tuesday.
she says they are a must.
They really were quite lovely.
But she forgot to dust.
On Wednesday it was a sampler.
Stipling's so much fun.
What highlights! What Shadows!
But the laundry wasn't done.
Her patches were on Thursday -
Green, yellow, blue and red.
I guess she was just too busy;
She never made the bed.
It was wall hangings on Friday,
In colors she adores.
It never seemed to bothered her -
The crumbs upon the floors.
I found a maid on Saturday.
My week is now complete.
My wife can quilt the hours away;
The house will still be neat.
Well, it's already Sunday.
I think I'm about to wilt.
I cursed, I raved, I ranted,
The MAID has learned to QUILT

LOL, Travelinggramma! Thanks for that cute poem. I'm going to read it at our next quilt meeting!
Terri, the block for GramE is so beautiful. That quilt is going to look like the frosting on a wedding cake! I think that's my favorite set of blocks in our Boom 21 swap.

AND I just went through the pictures - each is better than the next. And I laugh every time I look at Hav4boys with the little turtle trailing at the end!!!
