Can't say I'm a fan of wallpaper either...or carpet. I've done plenty of renovating so I know how tiring and dirty it is. Just keep thinking how gorgeous and fresh it will be when you're done! Not to mention how much bigger the rooms will look....Makes me remember my Dad's house when he first moved in...the previous owner had a wallpapering business, even the ceilings had wallpaper...the worst was the foil/red/blue tumbling blocks in the back bedroom, the shag pile carpet throughout...even in the kitchen. Hang in there!

We have a 1908 ranch house and when I removed the panels from the living room, it had the oldest wall paper that was olive green with the velvety type designs. The one bedroom floor. after three layers of carpet removed, had the most beautiful tiled kids tiles with nursery rhymes, so I left it under my new carpet. So sureal. Wonder how many grew up in there. Looks good. Can't wait to see the after pictures and your new sewing room.
