Art Quilts, but I love Bargello, Log Cabin, Crumb, and any and all scrap quilts. Guess I don't belong here!

Every time I say to myself I don't like a particular quilt pattern or style, someone will post one that I like! I think with the right fabric combo, there's one of everything I like! The reverse also is true. There are some patterns that I absolutely love, but do them in civil war fabrics, and not so much...

I really don't like Convergence quilts. I think I saw too many of them when the book first came out.

I cannot stand going to a shop, buying matchy-matchy coordinate fabrics, chopping them into little bits and re-sewing. I'm for scrappy quilts made from up cycled clothing and thrifty finds, but Vive la difference! To each his own. Live and let live.

Quilt patterns don't give me the creeps but the chocolate/aqua and faux retro color fabrics set my teeth on edge.

Amen to that! But ... I just love chocolate/aqua combos. Normally don't like brown at all, but ...

I like looking at others' applique quilts, but can't imagine me doing one.

I think patterns grow on you after a while. GFG was one that sent me into spasms, but I have since rethought that one. I am collecting colours for that one. I can see where it would be a great project to take along with you. Another one I skip over are cathedral windows, they just don't appeal to me.
