I have a clothesline outside that I hang my sheets on even in the winter. Love the fresh smell. I also have a clothesline in the basement that I hang some things up on hangers to dry and I have a drying rack that I sometimes use for towels, socks, etc. Sometimes I have used my quilting frame for drying. Whatever works!

clothesline would work better, but, I would be going to the launder mat, since it's only a temporary problem.

Living in a subdivision doesn't allow us to have a clothesline but i would love to hang out the sheets and towels. They smell so good after whipping in the fresh air.

I prefer a regular clothes line but the darn by laws in our area forbid outside lines (you'd think everyone pushing use less energy they'd allow clothes lines), so I have a line strung up in our basement along with a portable rack that I use.

I have a drying rack. Luckily I have a dryer that is working so I don't use the rack that much. Except for swimsuits, bras, drying sweaters 'flat'. Most of the time I hang my wash outside and only use the dryer for the little things - socks, panties, facecloths, etc. And I have the drying rack set up over a floor vent so that in the winter time, things dry!

My friend uses a retractable clothes line and their HOA doesn't say anything about it. Only one line. The clothes aren't out there that long. I'm glad we live in the country, I love my large clothesline that I can hang everything on. In the winter I have the racks next to the woodstove. Sometimes I have strings of apples over top the woodstove. Right now it's so humid the bath towels aren't even getting dry by the next time they are needed. My daughter left her jacket on the chair on her balconey and got a notice that no clothing was to be hung on the balcony.

Clothes line, have hooks that I can put the line up on. Just loop it, and stretch it out and hook it on the opposite side. Works like a charm and is quick to put up and take down.
