I don't think the yellow is right because there is no yellow in the quilt. I like the last one.

The yellow sure makes it pop! It also brings the stars closer.

I wouldn't use the yellow because it takes over the quilt, and there doesn't seem to be any yellow in the quilt. For the border, I like the light lavender and purple floral together without the white in between. I think it is a nice blend, and it looks more balanced.
