I like the fabric ornaments. But the mixed one is pretty cool as well because the sparkly rhinestones make me think of the lights on tree not ornaments. If you placed more ornaments in the center of the tree I think that may be the winner. Placement of ornaments like you did in the first pic with some rhinestones for the christmas tree lights and add a little garland. Ribbon garland as another poster suggested.

With the mixed one the fabric ornaments would need to be smaller.

In my opinion, one of each. Unless you place the fabric ornaments in the same general spaces as the first pic. Sides of the tree are too heavy on your bottom picture.

I like both types on the one tree but I agree with a previous poster that some of the ornaments look too large. If they were scaled down in size and scattered all over, plus the sparkly stones, that would be awesome!

Both the ornaments and the rhinestones. The rhinestones look like lights :)
