I am thinking about getting the QC1000 and glad to read the good review...if someone can add more details about the stitch regulated will be helpful...?? .......

OP Lainee says "I swear there is a built in stitch regulator" but it does not have one. many things i've read online state that others with this machine use a stitch regulator with their Grace frame, which is not part of this machine.

I don't think Brother is making the QC1000 anymore. You may be able to pick up a used one, but I seldom see them on EBay or Craig's list. I think the people who have them tend to hold onto them.
