MORE IS BETTER! Love collecting the old machines, big and little. Then trying to find the manuals online is another thing. So many colors, styles, sizes and made is so many diff. countries.

We're collectors....and the more you collect, the more your knowledge grows (along with your collection). It's so much fun to rescue bits and pieces of our past.

If you post the serial number here, some of us can tell you what it is. There used to be charts available on the singer site that gave date allocated, model, and number in the manufacturing run. Some people saved those lists before Singer made access difficult.

    Pics will also be fun!

Welcome to our growing number of QB members who are discovering a love for the vintage machines. They are so very interesting and so fun to clean up and find information on. I have ONLY 9, but each one was selected for a specific reason...size, decals, etc. Anyway, I am so happy to be a member of this group, and am equally happy to welcome each new "collector"!!

This is a link to the ISMACS site for dating your sewing machine. She appears to be a model 66, allotted 10 Aug 1915, one of 50,000.
