    Thanks!

The Lizzie was $3995 and the HQ was $4495 with free delivery. The Lizzie did not have free shipping. I can't really compare them since the Lizzie wasn't available at the show.

I love my Sweet 16. I was not interested in a frame setup since I really like holding the fabric instead of the handles. It makes it so much easier to quilt bigger quilts! I would check what reviews say about both machines. Do you have good local dealers for both?

Was the $4495 with or without stitch regulator?

I hate those high pressure dealers. I have a dealer in the area who quoted me a price of $5200 with SR - good always, she said. She doesn't like to pressure.

That was without the stitch regulator since I didn't feel as if I really needed it. My stitches were nice and even without it. I want to say that it was $5195 with the stitch regulator but don't quote me on that one. I am fairly sure that I still have the handout from the show that has all the info on it. I didn't pay that much attention to it since I wasn't interested in the regulator. It didn't make the stitches as even as I felt it should for the money

Okay... I got off my lazy backside and found the flyer from the quilt expo. The HQS16 w/ regulator was on sale for $5295. I was close. W/o the regulator it was $4495.

I test drove the Tin Lizzie and the HQ Sweet 16 and while my stitch quality was fine with both of them, I did not like the clunkiness of the Tin Lizzie. The dealer also did not get back to me and answer the questions I had. So I went with the HQ and am so glad I did.

I wish I was able to test the TL at the show. That would have been really nice... I am concerned that I won't like the height of the TL. It's a few inches shorter than the HQ which to me is a bit claustrophobic in a weird kind of a way. I liked the openness of the HQ.
I'm hoping to test the TL this week and then drive out to Waverly, TN to check out the Sunshine 16. Since I don't want or need the regulator, if I like the Sunshine then I'll be able to save a considerable amount of money - if I like the way it stitches and runs... it will only end up costing money in the end if I'm not happy with it from the get go... but I'm really really leaning towards the HQ...
