Homemade solution for folding fabric?
#11
I've never used it for fabric folding. I use this mixture to remove wrinkles on my fabric.
But if you want the fabric to relax it should do the trick.

My reply isn't going to focus on the starch method of applique....after I found the Appliquik sticks and other items you use, I'll never go back. It makes applique perfect! For larger pieces, I stick to the Piece 'O Cake method of hand pressing the seam allowance, and you get to start stitching RIGHT AWAY !!

Rosa Rojas from Spain was introducing her Appliqick tools at Paducah quilt show some years ago. I sat and watched her demo. When she made a tiny perfect circle in seconds I was sold and I didn't hand applique. I bought the set of tools a the show special price and so glad I did as I tried hand applique later and now love it. Her glue pen was the softest I have used but it was discontinued to another glue and not refillable. I'm not paying $20 for two glue sticks so I use Bohin glue for applique.
