I like the sides the way they are. I like the way it frames the quilt. I vote for fixing the top and bottom, if you feel it must match. IMO Love the colors. You still have gold geese flying out of the quilt, or am I looking at it wrong?

I think it looks great just the way it is. Very nice quilt!

No, I haven't pieced the final borders yet, I just set them there to see if it would make a difference in my decision.

I have a feeling I'm going to be ripping tomorrow. I will have to sleep on it. In the long run, it might always bother me knowing it is such a huge mistake...

Thank you for your opinion, and compliment.

My sentiments exactly. I'm another quilter, and I would have assumed you meant it that way. It wouldn't have occurred to me that anything was wrong.

IF I were to rip. I'd do top and bottom too. However... I like it as is FIRST. My second choice is dark pointing in. I like how the gold is broken by the geese.

It looks great! I like them that way better. If you want both the same take out the shorter sides and flip them. You found a new and better way.

Your geese are not flying away, they are flying home to the quilt. Your top is lovely and I would put the top and bottom geese on to match.
