WELL!!! I definitely chose the right quilting group to post in. I now see lots of different ways to use the rectangles and with some minor cutting into squares, the possibilities seem endless.

Here is one I did using rectangles. You simply add sashing to either the sides or top & bottom to make the blocks the same size.
