    Yeah I sew all by hand and grandma and mom never told me to use one, I have found a few in all the stuff I have but have never put one on, I guess trying not to stab myself keeps me focused :lol: or I'm just to dumb to use one when I have them lying around :roll:
    hehehe I just don't like my finger hurting. :lol: So I'll have to go try one on for size since it is my middle finger. :shock:

    Yes it was productive and well mom she's buying a machine and wants to do repairs and placemats. Do I hear quilts in her future?

    I love that pattern and colors!! What a fun time you had with your mom!! :D :D
    Give her the link to this board once she gets her sewing machine, and I bet she'll be hooked on quilting in no time! lol!!!!! :wink: :D

    Thanks Bev, we were too but hey what can you do it was free. Next week I go for another free class to make a simple tote with there logo on it (free advertising for them) but if we bring the bag in for rest of the year we get 10% off our sale

    Sounds like they have some good ideas for promoting the shop. Hope the next "class" isn't as rushed! Love the colors in the placemat! Good job on the binding. :lol:
