I would go with something simpler and use one of the darker fabrics for the border. You have a busy beautifully pieced quilt and the border should just frame the quilt.

I love your quilt! I also think the second border would look best. The first one, to me, draws your eye away from the quilt and out to the border. Show us what you come up with (0:

I have to go with the second one. I think the first is too busy.

The deep rich blue would be perfect to frame up this lovely top.

I think I'm going to put another narrow slightly lighter dark green strip, a 4" or so strip of the second fabric, then the original strip set. And use one of the dark greens for binding.
This should get it to about 64"x78". That should be big enough for two to snuggle under, shouldn't it?

i would repeat the placement of the same colors already in the borders on 2nd one [or close] so as not to detract from center of quilt

I keep seeing attached images, but don't see them and clicking on them doesn't bring them up?

I think the pinkish one doesn't work. It seems to fight with the center. The green one looks pretty but a pieced inner border would looks smashing too.

I like the 2nd one the best. To me,it helps keep the mood of the quilt subdued.

Just an idea; there are several really great border on the internet that aren't greatly difficult.

Will be really pretty when completed!
