    It turned out great. I don't know if I am lazy or just impatient. I prefer quilting the whole quilt rather than block by block. The joining of the blocks drives me crazy.
    The method seems to have worked very well for you. Good job!

    Beautiful!!!!!
    Now - as a newbie to quilting, I will ask a question that maybe I should already know but - Did you hand quilt the blocks then machine stitch them together? or Was it all machine, or all hand? I love to do hand work and am still intimidated by machine quilting so just wondered.

    susiequilt....the back is a green on geeen floral, all the same fabric.

    sbeddingfield....all the blocks had some machine quilting, some of them also had some hand quilting. The sashing and border is all machine quilted, but because you do them as you go, you never have a huge wad of fabric to wrangle in your machine.
