Absolutely non-spicy salsa?
#11
I make my own non-spicy as well, using drained canned petite diced tomatoes, canned mild green chilies (not spicy at all, just nice flavor), some lime juice and zest, a little salt and pepper, leave as is (chunky) or put in blender for smooth. You can add a tad bit of onion or cilantro, a pinch of ground cumin, my husband likes his blended and cooked a bit (he also likes jalapenos lol) but I prefer it chunky, fresh and no spiciness.

I have bought a salsa at WalMart that had tomatoes, black beans, corn and some other stuff in it that was absolutely non spicy. It was a perfect compliment to a salty Frito. There are lots of recipes out there to make your own.

The white membranes inside a pepper contain the most capsaicin, and the actual flesh of the pepper contains less. The seeds of the pepper don't contain any capsaicin at all.
When I make my salsas, I scrape out the insides of the peppers, and just use the outer flesh. That way I get the flavor of the pepper with a minimum of the burn.
