    Trip Around the World. If you use batiks and put a very thin black sashing between the blocks, it looks like stained glass.

    Also Sister's Choice, which is great for jelly rolls.

    I have made many double slice quilts. As with almost all quilts changing colors change the looks.

    1st would be Log Cabin, and then MSQ's double slice and then depending on how many fat qtrs I have, a Karla Alexander "stack the deck" quilt.

    My favorite pattern is the kaleidoscope pattern that I designed. Each one is different.

    Log cabin is a favorite. Also Churn Dash blocks, because when you cut you can get mirror images.

    Lately I've been making log cabin quilts. I like the option of numerous layouts. The quilt in the attached photo was made from fat quarters.

    I'm still new enough to the craft that one of my rules is to .. make the same quilt twice! That said - I made a grandmothers fan/ Dresden that just about knocked my socks off it was so pretty. Gave it to my cousin for her wedding.
    it was just the right mix of classic and modern.
